III. Information on data processing
The data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply, provided the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations and no other information is provided below on individual processing procedures.

Server data
For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted to us or to our web space provider by your internet browser. These so-called server log files include the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you switched to our website (referrer URL), the webpages of our website you visit, the date and time of the respective access, and the IP address of the internet connection from which the use of our website occurs.

This data is temporarily stored but not in conjunction with other personal data. This storage takes place on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website.

The data will be deleted at the latest after seven days unless further retention is required for evidentiary purposes. Otherwise, the data is wholly or partially exempt from deletion until final clarification of an incident.

Cookies
a) Session cookies/session cookies
We use so-called cookies in our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies stored and saved on your device by your internet browser. These cookies process certain information from you, such as your browser or location data or your IP address.

The processing makes our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure, as it allows, for example, the reproduction of our website in different languages or the use of a shopping cart function.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR, provided these cookies process data for contract initiation or contract processing.

If the processing does not serve the purpose of initiating or processing a contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis is then Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR.

These session cookies are deleted when you close your internet browser.

b) Third-party cookies
If necessary, our website also uses cookies from partner companies with whom we cooperate for the purpose of advertising, analysis, or the functionalities of our website.

Please refer to the following information for details, particularly concerning the purposes and legal bases of the processing of such third-party cookies.

c) Elimination option
You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by setting your internet browser accordingly. Likewise, you can delete already stored cookies at any time. The steps and measures required for this, however, depend on your specific internet browser. If you have any questions, please use the help function or documentation of your internet browser or contact its manufacturer or support. In the case of so-called Flash cookies, however, the processing cannot be prevented via the browser settings. Instead, you must change the setting of your Flash player. The steps and measures required for this also depend on your specific Flash player. If you have any questions, please use the help function or documentation of your Flash player or contact the manufacturer or user support.

If you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, this may result in not all functions of our website being fully usable.

Contract processing
The data transmitted by you for the use of our goods and/or services is processed by us for the purpose of contract processing and is necessary to that extent. Conclusion and processing of the contract are not possible without providing your data.

The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR.

We delete the data upon complete contract processing but must observe the retention periods under tax and commercial law.

As part of contract processing, we pass on your data to the transport company or financial service provider commissioned with the delivery of goods or payment processing, as far as the transfer is necessary for the delivery of goods or payment purposes.

The legal basis for the transfer of data is then Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR.

Customer account/registration function
If you create a customer account with us via our website, we will use the data you entered during registration (e.g., your name, address, or email address) exclusively for pre-contractual services, for contract fulfillment, or for the purpose of customer care (e.g., to provide you with an overview of your previous orders with us or to offer you the so-called memo function). We also store your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This data will not be passed on to third parties.

As part of the further registration process, your consent to this processing is obtained, and reference is made to this privacy policy. The data collected by us in this process will be used exclusively for the provision of the customer account.

If you consent to this processing, Art. 6 (1) lit. a) GDPR is the legal basis for the processing.

If the opening of the customer account also serves pre-contractual measures or the fulfillment of the contract, the legal basis for this processing is also Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR.

The consent given to us for the opening and maintenance of the customer account can be revoked at any time according to Art. 7 (3) GDPR with effect for the future. For this, you need to inform us of your revocation.

The data collected in this respect will be deleted as soon as the processing is no longer necessary. However, we must observe the retention periods under tax and commercial law.

Newsletter
If you subscribe to our free newsletter, the data you requested for this purpose, i.e., your email address and optionally your name and address, will be transmitted to us. At the same time, we store the IP address of the internet connection from which you access our website, as well as the date and time of your registration. As part of the further registration process, your consent to the sending of the newsletter will be obtained, the content will be specifically described, and reference will be made to this privacy policy. The data collected in this process will be used exclusively for the newsletter dispatch and will not be passed on to third parties.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. a) GDPR.

The consent to the newsletter dispatch can be revoked according to Art. 7 (3) GDPR at any time with effect for the future. For this, you need to inform us of your revocation or

use the unsubscribe link contained in each newsletter.

Contact requests/contact possibility
If you contact us via contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your request. The provision of the data is necessary for processing and answering your inquiry - without its provision, we cannot answer your inquiry or can only answer it to a limited extent.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted if your request has been finally answered, and the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations, such as in the case of subsequent contract processing.

User posts, comments, and ratings
We offer you the opportunity to post questions, answers, opinions, or ratings on our website, hereinafter referred to as "posts." If you take advantage of this offer, we process and publish your post, the date and time of submission, and any pseudonym you may use.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. a) GDPR. The consent can be revoked at any time according to Art. 7 (3) GDPR with effect for the future. For this, you need to inform us of your revocation.

In addition, we process your IP and email address. The IP address is processed because we have a legitimate interest in taking or supporting further action if your post infringes the rights of third parties and/or is otherwise unlawful.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the possible legal defense.

Subscription to posts
If you post on our website, we also offer you the opportunity to subscribe to any follow-up posts by third parties. To inform you about these follow-up posts by email, we process your email address.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. a) GDPR. The consent for this subscription can be revoked at any time according to Art. 7 (3) GDPR with effect for the future. For this, you need to inform us of your revocation or use the unsubscribe link in the respective email.

Online job applications/publication of job advertisements
We offer you the opportunity to apply to us via our website. In these digital applications, your applicant and application data are electronically collected and processed by us for handling the application process.

The legal basis for this processing is § 26 (1) sentence 1 BDSG in conjunction with Art. 88 (1) GDPR.

If an employment contract is concluded after the application process, we store your data transmitted during the application in your personnel file for the purpose of the usual organizational and administrative process - this, of course, in compliance with further legal obligations.

The legal basis for this processing is also § 26 (1) sentence 1 BDSG in conjunction with Art. 88 (1) GDPR.

In the event of rejection of an application, we automatically delete the data transmitted to us two months after notification of the rejection. However, the deletion does not occur if the data require longer storage due to statutory provisions (e.g., due to the burden of proof under the AGG) or until the conclusion of a legal dispute.

The legal basis in this case is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR and § 24 (1) no. 2 BDSG. Our legitimate interest lies in legal defense or enforcement.

If you explicitly consent to longer storage of your data, e.g., for inclusion in a database of applicants or interested parties, the data will be further processed based on your consent. The legal basis is then Art. 6 (1) lit. a) GDPR. However, you can revoke your consent at any time according to Art. 7 (3) GDPR with effect for the future by informing us of your revocation.

Linking social media via graphic or text link

The use of this linked graphic prevents the establishment of an automatic connection to the respective server of the social network when calling up a website with a social media application to display a graphic of the respective network itself. Only by clicking on the corresponding graphic is the user redirected to the service of the respective social network.

After the user is redirected, information about the user is collected by the respective network. It cannot be excluded that a processing of the collected data takes place in the USA.

These are initially data such as IP address, date, time, and the visited page. If the user is logged into their user account of the respective network during this time, the network operator can, if necessary, assign the collected information of the specific visit to the user's personal account. If the user interacts via a "Share" button of the respective network, this information can be stored in the user's personal user account and, if necessary, published. If the user wants to prevent this direct assignment of the collected information to their user account, they must log out before clicking on the graphic. It is also possible to configure the respective user account accordingly.
